When the Lens has a lot of likes it’s much better positioned on Squidoo and Google, which means you will have many more visits i much better traffic. Plus if your lens have 20 likes Lens Progress bar will be on the higher level and Giant Squid will come and like your lens.
Each like will be from a unique profile.
